I wonder how many people agree with you on this. I suspect a lot, unfortunately. And that means -- contrary to what a couple of people have said on this thread -- that being gay is no longer a non-issue. I would love to be wrong about this.

Funny how you preach about not marginalizing people as you lump millions of people in with what those two people said.

I agree that we should not lump millions of people together with one asshole.

On the other hand, the politician here (Miller) is the chief policy advisor to the President of the United States. Pretty important guy, and I suspect he is not just one person who is alone in his beliefs. Rather, I suspect his views are representative of thousands, if not millions of others.

That sounds reasonable, and yes it's irresponsible for someone in that position to say that. Im surprised that a bigger deal wasn't made of it.
