JD is two for four with his pitching gets. Vest and Flexen have been good. Montero and Middleton not so much.
Middleton is fine. Montero has not. 0.3 vs -0.3.

Keynan has had one bad game at the beginning of the season, understandable. Montero still hasn't figured it out.

Can Graveman come in for the 8th inning against Trout, Rendon, Walsh?
Thats exactly what happened. Good call Juliooooo. I was thinking the same. Good managing by Servais to make that call.

Though the 9th inning yesterday was probably the most stress free save in M's franchise history. 3 outs with only 7 pitches and 6 strikes.

But Servais sucks and is the worst manager ever. Must be why he almost made the playoffs with a negative run differential 3 years ago and has a winning record despite having over half his lineup hitting .200 or less.

Here comes the hate, because heaven forbid you don't think Servais is the worst Manager ever in this forum...

I was still a little nervous. But not as much after seeing Graveman buzzsaw his way through the heart of Los Angeles' murderes row.

Sucks to hear we lost another arm in Sadler. Our pitching is dropping like flies. The M's need to find another starter, whether its from the minors or outside the organization. We can't keep having these bullpen days. You're gonna wear them out before the trade deadline. Gilbert makes the most sense. I know that they are saving him for the stretch run in summer, but plans change. We need a freaking starter. Even if/when Gonzales returns healthy you still only have 5 starters for your stupid 6 man rotation(Gonzales, Flexen, Kikuchi, Dunn, and Sheffield). Margevicius and Newsome are not "quality" starters.

I actually don't think SS is a bad manager, he just isn't my type of dude.

I think SS is a bad manager.

Winning baseball games with a negative run differential is futile. Only a handful of teams with a negative run differential have ever made the playoffs and it's more so a sign of a luck than your team being any good. Rest assured that if the M's offense continues to slump, which all indicators are that it will, the M's will fall into obscurity because this bullpen will not pitch at a historic level for all of 2021. Our bullpen ERA at 2.30 is tops in baseball...

I want to see Servais turn the offense around. I want to see real adjustments by our hitters made and implemented. When you have like 6 positional starters hitting right at .200 or below with OPS's ranging .400 to .600 it tells me Scott and Co. didn't prep this team well enough for the season started. And now that it has continued for a month, it tells me Scott and Co. haven't taken the steps necessary to realize the issue and move toward solutions.

With Scott, it always feels like you're beating a dead horse. His guys look unprepared, unpolished, unfocused. I mean how many times have M hitters been picked off this year? It has to be tops in baseball. How many times do starters go out there and just have no command of their stuff? Because the hitting has been so atrocious, Scott hasn't been placed in many situational baseball opportunities - thank God. We've mostly been living by the longball to win games 3-2, 2-0, 4-1. Perfect example is a few night ago against Houston, he had a hot Middleton on the bench and unfortunately burned Graveman a night before in a losing effort... for some reason he decides to go with the struggling Montero and sure enough we lose it. He's well known for shit like this.

And of course there's always the bone to pick regarding backing up his guys. Strike zones have been absolutely atrocious in a lopsided manner against the M's thus far this season and where has Scott been? When your team is struggling hitting you need everything you can get. The announcers made a comment that Kyle Lewis seems to have been a victim, more so than anyone else, of calls a few inches off the plate ruining counts for him to have a positive at bat... well... Scott.. get out there and raise hell... steal some strikes for your guys because right now KyLew isn't covering the outer half and you need to fight like hell for him.

It's really all encompassing... the M's have been winning by the seem of their pants and it's about to unravel unless serious changes happen.
