We're now hitting .199 as a team btw.

They may just rename the Mendoza line to the Mariner line...

So that's two no-hitters, two one-hitters and two two-hitters already this season. You can't make this stuff up.

Maybe this is what speed and defense gets us...

Baseball is the last sport where stockpiling "athleticism" is going to win you anything.

Michael Jordan couldn't hit a baseball. Great athlete though.

Their approach of going after "athletes" doesn't seem to be resulting in good baseball players.

From where I'm looking there's only one way for this franchise to go and that is up.
If there is anything that this franchise has taught the people of Seattle is that there is a second way to go instead of up....and that is to go sideways and wallow in the filth.

They called it a wild pitch but replay clearly showed glove wasn’t even up in time or proper position. That run should be on Torrens not pitcher
Torrens is horrible. I get frustrating with the hitting, but playing piss poor defense is inexcusable, especially from the C position.
Which is one of the reasons I've got Harry Ford and Joe Mack targeted for the Mariners. I was looking at Henry Davis early, but his stock has risen out of reach.
