When I began this thread, it was a rant against those who refuse to vaccinate but demand the rest of us to wear face masks. Kinda like driving a car without insurance knowing that the guy you hit will have enough insurance to cover your mistakes.

Basically my rant was towards those who don't get vaccinated but want the rest of us to cover their butts. Oops, Sorry. I mean faces! I never really expected this thread to get 50 pages long!

I don't know of a single person that isn't getting the vax that expects people to wear masks. Zero, and would be shocked if it was more than 1% of the population.

It's common knowledge that Fauci gave millions to the Wuhan lab that some think developed and released COVID through their R&D department. That money is fungible - we have no idea what it was used for. if it was ever tied into COVID research, Fauci becomes Public Enemy #1 - there would be NO where to hide, and if this were to blow up in the government's face - they have their fall guy already lined up perfectly.[/b

As predicted, it's lining up perfectly. Fauci will be the fall guy. It's laughable how predictable this is. Fauci's lies and emails and dishonesty in covering his ass - and a communist government - the cat is out of the bag - dude's going down. Can't "it's a conspiracy theory' this away Amazon, Barnes and Noble took his new "book" down. He was paid top $$$ for this 'book' which is 80 fucking pages. A child can write an 80 page book.

Coming up next - the inevitable "I'm resigning so as not to be a distraction..." bullshit speech. Who's taking bets on the day of his (forced) resignation? A week? 10 days?

All that's left now is a Biden pardon to complete the whole charade.

Hard to say....a lot of what I read is being "reported" from these Emails just talks about how tirelessly Faucci worked, he kept telling people he was tired, he responded to everyone, he was polite, he changed his mind but only when the facts were presented to show he should....blah blah. I am not reading all the emails, and you know no one else is. So we are simply going to know what is reported, which is mostly making Faucci to look like some hero that sacrificed his own health and well being for this country!

If nonsensical is a bad thing (I assume that is how you mean it), I'll still go for an excess of politeness any day. People caring about not spreading the virus is what kept this *relatively* in check until the vaccines arrived.

I don't know why you say this is "actual vitriol." Yeah some random people on twitter saying that the guys let down their team. I think it's unfortunate people are like that, but it's not nearly as bad (insofar a vitriol goes) as one of the media's top personalities (Tucker Carlson) being triggered by mask-wearing.

I didn't read the tweets from fans, but I am a bit curious. If there had been a vaccine during the NFL season, and Russ Wilson refused it, then missed two games because he contracted COVID, and we missed the playoffs due to those two losses...would you feel different about if players should get the vaccine or not?

Fans ripped on NFL guys for going to dinner without a mask, let alone not getting vaccinated. It is the Mariners, so no one really cares, and baseball is a long ass season. But it is easy to say "leave these guys alone and let them make their own decisions" when it is a few bullpen arms on a baseball team not going to the playoffs anyway. Does that change? What if they did make the playoffs and half the rotation and four regulars had to miss weeks due to a positive test and contact tracing? Would you still think they made the right choice?

They are making guys quarantine for two weeks even though they have negative tests because they sat next to or talked to a guy that tested positive.

It's like if the NFL had a new rule that a player caught contacting or working out with anyone under criminal investigation was a two game suspension and RW was suspended for his involvement with AB. Would you be mad at the league for making the rule or RW?

Even the athletes who "had covid" had to be told they had covid. Not in any type of danger category. It was all nonsense from day 1.

Am worried about how it will
