Haniger like all good hitters is streaky and has been in a bit of slump lately.
BUT you can't swing at pitch one low and away with the bases loaded for God's sake!
I personally don't want to see Haniger go in a trade.
I'd love to see him anchor these kids on their way to a winning club.
But if we are still hovering around .500 by July 30. Forget about it.

Kyle Seager is a professional hitter. At this point of his career he has got to have some pride left in the tank.
He knows the DAMAGE that inning will do to this club and the lost opportunity he let slip bye not focusing.
That's why we see him at the end of the game staring into the field like he's lost the game for them. Because he did.
Seager is the perfect player for a team like the Yankees or RedSox needing to bolster their offense for the playoffs.
But a LIABILITY for this young squad during the regular season.
I'll be so glad to watch him swing for the fences in October knowing he won't be swinging at sliders for our club anymore.

The Angels just left this team in tatters tonight.... some players are made for opportunities like tonight... Edgar for example.... I'd like to ask Seager what his plan was as he strode to the plate... same question to Haniger... By the time it got to France, the pressure was too great... I don't blame him. the other two just had to make contact.... for Haniger a dribbler to second ties the game, for Seager, just hunt a breaking pitch and loft it into the outfield... even a bunt probably ties the game... just abysmal!

I just find it so funny, he was absolutely so cocky absolutely cocky. Knowing he would come up and tear it up. Cockyness does not work he just needs to settle down, stop thinking he knows everything and get back to what he loves. I just hope he is not a dud of a prospect.

Has to be hard for players like Haniger and Seager who actually want to win, but the org keeps pushing off any attempt to go for it.

Add 3 more good players to this core and we're probably pulling games like this out.

Instead, they watched Dipoto sit on his thumbs until all the talent was gone in free agency and now they're suiting up next to bums. Has to be demoralizing. Those guys have to be hoping they're traded somewhere that actually wants to win.
