Damn Rocker's stock has fallen faster than his Uncle John after his ride on the NYC subway.
Rocker is the 2nd coming of CC Sabathia. If I were him, I'd get with CC ASAP and figure how to carve out a nice career.

Henry Davis may wind up going #1 overall. His needle has been pointing straight up ALL SEASON!! He's got the patience of Job, eye of an Eagle, walks more than he strikes out, 70 grade arm along with good defense and hits for power, average, and obp. I mean thats really all you can ask for. A college bat. Will move quick through the system.
The fact that Cal is now hitting .375 makes me a little less sad about missing out on Davis. I would love to hear what he privately thinks about JK round now. A kid 3 years younger than him crapping the bed in Seattle after getting promoted based on a week of games while he kills it in Tacoma and has to wait until he's "ready". lol

No doubt. They have a LONG leash with Murphy. He's slowly coming back into the hitter we saw last year. Raleigh is gonna be fun to watch in the majors, however I think he needs a lot more time in the minors. I'm not convinced yet. Catchers take longer.

C Harry Ford will be in my Top 15. He's an athlete that you could literally plug in anywhere on the diamond. He's a unicorn with 65 grade speed. Rumor has him as a darkhorse to Arizona should they miss out on Davis.

First, he talked to Pearlman about the likelihood that he would ever accept a position on a New York team. "I would retire first," Rocker said. "It's the most hectic, nerve-wracking city." That was a benign comment compared to what came next. On the city's residents: "The biggest thing I don't like about New York are the foreigners. I'm not a very big fan of foreigners." Then there's the experience of riding a New York City subway: "Imagine having to take the [Number] 7 train to the ballpark … next to some kid with purple hair next to some queer with AIDS right next to some dude who just got out of jail for the fourth time right next to some 20-year-old mom with four kids. It's depressing." He was no more charitable to his Atlanta teammates, calling one black player a "fat monkey."

He is 24.5 years old. Zunino came up at 22yo and was great defensively and managing pitchers. If he keeps raking we should see him before the AS break unless JK freaked them out and now they are going to keep position players down until they are 30 yo. lol

I'm pretty sure Mayer goes number one in the draft and there'll be a long run on high school players in the early rounds. That being said, there's still a couple of guys I'd take if they fall to us. Joshua Baez will be taken somewhere in the mid first round. I'd take him before Frelick if he's available at 12. I'm also super excited about Peyton Stovall who may possibly be available in the second round, but I doubt it. The guys mental makeup is off the charts and his bat is lethal. I wouldn't go ballistic if the M's reached for him at 12. He will make the majors the same time as Marte, imo, 2023.

I could see Stovall at 12 if Seattle misses out on McLain. Or 3B Izaac Pacheco, he checks off all the boxes. Mayer very well could go #1. I like Davis more though. Baez is intriguing. Great athlete like Ford. I think Ford Seattle would go Ford before Baez.

He would've taken Kelenic. He has to have a particular affinity to do so however.

Rumor has it that the M's are all over Stovall and Harry Ford, well as all the early prep bats. Am hearing that the M's have definitely circled around bats this year. Matt McLain makes too much sense if he falls to us at 12, as I don't see Lawler, House, Watson, Ford, or Mayer making it to 12. Stovall would be awesome too. Colton Cowser is my back up should all things go awry.
