Fairbanks only allowed 2 runs all season, Hasent allowed a run in a month. This offense can get to him, bottom of the order and Seager come through. Dont quit.
Fairbanks gave up a run yesterday against the white Sox and took the loss.

Shed Long! There's nothing prettier than an inside-out swing!
You throw another veteran or three around this core next offseason and they'll be an exciting team to watch for awhile!

The best fits for the team may end up being vets with one or two years left on their deals THIS trade deadline, especially if they're holding onto the guys like Haniger for 2021.
Maybe, but this win was manufactured by Moore with the walk, and providing pressure on first, on Bauers who didn't try to kill the ball, and then a beautiful inside-outer by Shed Long. With the infield drawn in, all Kyle had to do was make contact..... So I give the first three guys more props than Kyle. We can win with or without the Vets on this team, imo.
Raleigh, Lewis, Kelenic, and JRod coming along to fill in gaps..... What we need to have jell is some of this young pitching..
That is true, Moore has his struggles but wow he really comes up Huge, Comes up with huge AB, good to see Long building up, getting some big hits, gotta keep him in the lower part of lineup, need an actual hitter there with Trammell shitting the bed.

Meanwhile good news in Tacoma as Witte, Thomas go long early and Raleigh and Kelenic go deep later for Rainiers to surge to an 11-7 lead with an inning left to play.

So I just watched the replay of France's home run, and the ball went right between a man and a woman in Edgar's who were sitting there (not with each other) not paying attention. The woman was facing the field too. I mean, how with the crack of the bat and the rising applause can people be that oblivious?
Seems weird to me, but there's definitely a percentage of the crowd that's there just to hang out like it's a giant tavern.
I've been with groups like that, hanging out in the pen and I was the only one watching the game.

Hate the Yanks, but need them to sweep Oakland this weekend. Hoping for a good series here and Oakland using can really help.

Raleigh continues to hit, I wonder if they are waiting for his streak to end before calling him up. He just cannot be stopped, KK needs to be on his best tomorrow, Bullpen other then Gravy is tired,

Dunn is gonna miss some starts, give the Ball to Santiago, let him build up some strength and length, sucks cause now we are stuck with Sheff and he cooking for the opposing offense not good.

I wish Thomas got more of a chance in Seattle when he was called up. Love that Raliegh continues to hit. No need to rush him imo. After the All star break is perfect timing imo. Ian McKinney got his first start in AAA, and didn't fare so well. Perhaps we do need to give these guys a chance to adjust and work their way up through all levels before we bring them to Seattle, especially guys like him that are so fringy.

I love that Long is hitting well. Still a really small sample size, but if he can keep it up, then he gives the Mariners a ton of flexibility with France, Long and Moore.
