Time for a little "RAY" of sunshine game thread (6-17-21)
Re: Time for a little "RAY" of sunshine game thread (6-17-21)
I really hope Mariners can get a decent packed house with capacity back to 100 soon, feels like the capacity now is all they get, I hate living in ny, i would be there every home game if i could.

Fighting an 0-2 nasty pitch also, really good to see 0-2 hits late, I really hope this lights a spark, winning a game like this against AL Champs.

Put a product on the field worth watching and they'd sell out every game of the season...

Hasn't happened in a long time.

Bauers has been doing pretty good lately as well, and France seems to be finding his swing again. It's nice to have most of the hitters above .200. Not a very high bar to clear, but it's a start.

Thats true, still I may say shit but I do love this team and I would pay to sit there and bitch good and bad bout them, in person would be so much better.IStillLoveTheMs wrote: ↑Fri Jun 18, 2021 6:01 amPut a product on the field worth watching and they'd sell out every game of the season...

Yes hoping Long and Bauers can continue to get hits the whole team, but most of our lineup over 210 would be absolutely amazing to see, Trammell Murph and Moore have tons of work to get there, I will take it only 3 under.Juliooooo wrote: ↑Fri Jun 18, 2021 6:06 amBauers has been doing pretty good lately as well, and France seems to be finding his swing again. Rays let them selves lose, that pop up bunt by Torrens, no one was running, they let that drop thats an easy game ender triple play, they gifted us that win knowing they can actually take loses and still be good.

Trammell needs to go back to AAA for a long stretch. Probably the whole second half of the season (please get healthy KLew, and please get your shit together Kelenic). I'd send him down tomorrow and bring up Dillon Thomas if it were me. I think Moore ends the season above .225, but we'll see. I'm not as hopeful for Murphy though. Hopefully Raleigh can prove capable when he gets his chance in a month.seth8734 wrote: ↑Fri Jun 18, 2021 6:08 amYes hoping Long and Bauers can continue to get hits the whole team, but most of our lineup over 210 would be absolutely amazing to see, Trammell Murph and Moore have tons of work to get there, I will take it only 3 under.

Definitely an athletic bunch.
Terry may be right about not needing vets. I'd throw an ace at the top of the rotation, minimum, but I could definitely see Dipoto sticking with his miser ways.
They can do a 3 to make 2 at 3B and 2B with France/Moore/Long.
They can do a 4 to make 3 in the OF with Kelenic/Fraley/Lewis/Bauers
They can do a 2 to make 1 at 1B with White and Bauers.
One thing having Edwin Diaz taught us is you can have a respectable season doing nothing but having a lights out closer. I'd start there. Dipoto always seems to make sure he has closer options, I think our bullpen is already shaping up nicely.
An ace, a closer, a Nelson Cruz, and go to war.

A foot to the left and the man takes a shot to the side of the head that probably at least gives him a concussion. A foot to the right though and that's a face destroyer and possibly even fatal. And all because they're dumbasses.Millikin wrote: ↑Fri Jun 18, 2021 5:40 amSeems weird to me, but there's definitely a percentage of the crowd that's there just to hang out like it's a giant tavern.DavidGee24 wrote: ↑Fri Jun 18, 2021 5:35 amSo I just watched the replay of France's home run, and the ball went right between a man and a woman in Edgar's who were sitting there (not with each other) not paying attention. The woman was facing the field too. I mean, how with the crack of the bat and the rising applause can people be that oblivious?
I've been with groups like that, hanging out in the pen and I was the only one watching the game.
