Also something to note ... Luis Torrens was converted from infield to catcher by the Yankees. He has been taking early groundball work at first base.

So I see where they are going with this....Cal and Tom catching...and Luis as third back up in case they want to DH Cal when Tom is hitting. Brilliant! See I can praise good ideas instead of just complain. lol

Why call them up now makes no sense. We got a few days off. Probably so they won't get hurt. Gonna carry 3 catchers or is Murphy gone?

Go back four texts, three in front of yours. Torrens has been working out at 1B, so they can carry three "catchers" and use Torrens at 1B or DH and still have a catcher on the bench, just in case.

I understand it a bit with Cal if they are going to have him Catch, they can give him a week to study up. Walton is coming up because of Seager Injury I'd guess. Probably put him on the 10 day because half of that will be the all star break. If they are going to call someone up, I guess they should just do it all at once and bring Kelenic as well.

And I'm not complaining. Questioning what their motives are is different than saying they are stupid and don't make any sense.

There is talk of Trammell going down and Kelenic being back here after break. I sure hope he is ready this time. Needs to focus more and not be so cocky.
