Then Lewis' injury opened the spot for Fraley very fast. That's why you want that depth.

There was no good excuse for not filling black holes. They were all depth moves, not forcing anyone out.

They'd be much better than 48-42 right now with the added good players.
I don't believe that's true.

Many teams have much better players than we do and they aren't 48-42.
Yeah, and you believed they'd have 70 wins.

In other words, what you believe means absolutely nothing because you're usually wrong.

Eff yeah, I stand by the fact that some spaghetti was bound to stick and we already had a solid foundation.

They're on an even better pace than I predicted thanks to the bullpen, clearly I didn't call their success beyond being good enough.
Spaghetti doesn't stick to the tune of a 2.04 ERA. History doesn't support your claim.

Teams aren't supposed to get as lucky as the M's have been where 3 injuries led to 3 relievers nobody wanted saving our season.

Idk how many more times I have to say that your spaghetti method isn't a reliable method to building a quality ball club.

I've been right about most every season but this one.

But good for you that you think the greatest outlier in the history of Major League Baseball proves that you knew what you were talking about.

The only reason they have a negative run differential is these guys, most of whom would never have been here if we had signed one more bat and another SP. It's not rocket science, stop using their run differential to justify your absurd stance on the team.

The terrible players are gone. And never should have been here.

You've got a bad case of the Yeah-buts.

Yeah, but the relievers...
Yeah, but the run differential...
Yeah, but the backup first baseman...

And I'll say it again, the M's likely don't have the lockdown bullpen we currently have if they had gone out and signed guys like Alex Colome as you wanted them to.

The M's would also have a way worse run differential if Newsome, Marg and Stadler hadn't gotten hurt because there's no way those 3 relievers would have a 2.04 ERA over 84 innings. We're talking probably double that and Cruz + a LF you wanted to sign wouldn't have overcome how shitty our bullpen would have been if things didn't shake out the way they have.

Yeah you stand on a mountain that a team is literally 1 of 10's of thousands and think it means you're right lol

It's insane.
