The CDC estimates that influenza has averaged between 9 million – 45 million illnesses, between 140,000 – 810,000 hospitalizations, and between 12,000 – 61,000 deaths annually since 2010.

The CDC shows 10 times the number of deaths for corona virus this past year. But if the current numbers of corona virus deaths per week hold true, we are looking at about 100,000 deaths this year. So at least 50% more than annual flu deaths. That is significant, but are we not all responsible for our own health? There is a vaccine out there that can, in most cases, prevent coming down with this virus. Nationally, nearly all the deaths have been among unvaccinated people since the “pandemic” first surfaced.

I know a number of individuals who are afraid of the virus. One, in particular, thinks it alters our DNA. And I can see a few out there thinking that the vaccination will inject some foreign tracking device into us.

I guess my point is that the government doesn’t seem too concerned about 60,000 flu deaths. It has, however, found a way to get us all to toe the line through fear, but there are a significant number of people who will never get the vaccine. And if that is the case, why am I responsible for their decision to avoid getting the vaccine.

Probably need to change the name from Cletus to Jerome or Jose based on this:

Most of the kids I teach (Middle Schoolers) are not White. And most of them ARE vaccinated. In our politically charged country, these statistics will somehow prove that we are all racist even though the vaccine is free to anyone who wants it!
