In the last two years the nation has watched while Seattle, Portland, SF, LA, Minneapolis, Chicago, New York - all Democrat run cities - were burned to the ground by 'peaceful protests', while their democrat 'leadership refused help from the frds, lest Trump gets any credit - and they topped that with their calls to defund the police which have directly resulted in massive crime spikes in those cities. I live in LA - it's been a major factor - was up in SF last week - same deal - it's bad.

I have friends who are highly pro-abortion. They are scared to death that when any abortion issue comes before the Supreme Court, they will lose. Thing is, the right to privacy and the right to an abortion are not in the Constitution. Look at Twitter and you can find vehement arguments on both sides. I'm just tired of the political football.

I tell my friends that if they want to permanently legalize abortion, they need to pass a Constitutional Amendment. Thing is, they know an amendment like that has no legs. It won't pass. 33 State Legislatures would need to ratify it. You may get 25, heck, you may even get 30, but there are at least 20 State Legislatures that wouldn't even consider it. This is one more reason why Liberals hate the Constitution. Another Check, another Balance. Under this scenario, each State holds the same weight. Population doesn't matter. California or Wyoming, it doesn't matter.
