Man. I think JK was safe on that play. Hard to see from the angles they showed.

2-0 lead for Marco, a control pitcher than can't even throw 90mph hour and he has a lead off walk to a guy hitting .186 in a must win game.

He has excellent speed, but as someone said in yesterday's game thread, when he's running the bases he looks like he's running in quicksand. Very odd.

Just make certain you learn Portuguese Portuguese and not Brazilian Portuguese. Totally different animal!
What's wrong with Brazilian Portuguese?!
I fail to understand why everyone here is automatically anointing Toro as the next star for the M's or even an above average player. Yes, he had a couple impressive weeks. But as Captain pointed out, he's come back down to earth and has struggled a bit lately. The fact is, none of us know what we have in him. How many times have we seen a player come up, rake for a couple weeks, and then fall off a cliff barely to be heard from again.

As an M's fan, of course I hope he does well. But the fact is, no one knows what we have in him yet, and you all are making him sound like the 2nd coming. You haven't seen this scenario play out enough times to be a little more objective?
By asking about Brazilian Portuguese?
The poster formerly known as Kingfelixk. With a new forum comes a new boardname. Julio is my guy, plus we share a birthday, so that's Culiooooo

Yeah, no reason not to learn Portuguese. The attitude that kids pick up a language easier than an adult is a misconception. An adult just has different tools to attack it with
