Paxton was looking to stick it to ole Elway up in the press box. Great showing from him. At 6'7 with that kind of arm and mobility... it's easy to see why Elway drafted him. Now he looks a lot better than Lock, Elways new project.ThePro wrote: ↑Sat Aug 10, 2019 6:47 pmGeno sucks.. I like Paxton Lynch's energy. And it seems like he has completely bought in. Isn't that what Carroll wants from his players?D-train wrote: ↑Sat Aug 10, 2019 6:25 pmI brought it up with Condotta and he had a predictable response.................

begs the question, would you rather be throwing to 1st team receivers vs. a 1st team D or throwing to backup receivers vs. a back up D. Seems to be pretty much a wash to me.
Geno still deserves due process. We need a solid backup. Would be nice to have a developing prospect like Lynch, though, who could be bartered down the road.
Re: 53 man roster projection
One thing was surprising to me that he has Scarborough making the team over the little guys. Says its due to the starters being more involved in the passing game so the third down scat back types not as critical. I think if he is healthy, Homer makes the team. Maybe I'm just being a Homer Homer.

I was surprised by that too after all the praise Homer has been getting. Also, I have this bad feeling that Ursua will be put on the practice squad, then picked up by the Patriots where he will become the next Wes Welker.
Re: 53 man roster projection
Yeah I think I would go with him over Ferguson or even Brown right now.Sibelius Hindemith wrote: ↑Sat Aug 10, 2019 11:30 pmI was surprised by that too after all the praise Homer has been getting. I would not be surprised to see some of our WR cuts making other teams rosters. Brown, Ferguson, Ursua aren't all going to make the team.D-train wrote: ↑Sun Aug 11, 2019 12:53 amYeah I think I would go with him over Ferguson or even Brown right now.Sibelius Hindemith wrote: ↑Sat Aug 10, 2019 11:30 pmI was surprised by that too after all the praise Homer has been getting. Don't they have to expose them to other teams picking them up before putting them on the PS?ThePro wrote: ↑Sun Aug 11, 2019 1:53 amFerguson and Ursa are eligible for the practice squad.Oso Dorado wrote: ↑Sun Aug 11, 2019 1:43 am
