I was in a FF league for one season. Picked Randy Moss in his rookie season and went out in a blaze of glory. lol

The best part of a fantasy football league is the draft. I usually don't do online drafts....have them in person, make it a big to do. We drink and eat, I love it. I am in one online, but only because it is a guy I met on the old Times site....and pretty much no one lives near each other. Not sure I would be interested in another one.

I just am so focused on my home town teams, I just don't have the brain space or desire to follow guys on other teams. There are literally HUNDREDS of great players on other teams that I have never heard of and can't imagine researching or rooting for them especially when they play the Hawks.

There is a difference between rooting and having them do well so you do well. If I watch Pat Mahomes, and want him to throw a TD because it helps my team? Does that make it so? It is like back in the old days on the Times when a couple of guys said we needed to focus on the next game and stop talking about a game two or three weeks away. Like somehow if I lose focus on the present, so will the Seahawks.

I have read in here and the Times guys would bench their guys against the Seahawks so they didn't have to root for them. Who says I am rooting for them, and who says if I do it would effect anything one way or the other. The opposite can also be true. I started Todd Gurley all the time, and who the Hell wouldn't. But when he score three times against the Hawks, at least I got something out of it besides pissed off!

But, again, I do it for the draft night with my buddies. Lot's of fun.

I get it, I was more referencing that I wouldn't be all that into a league here. Online drafts? Not the greatest.

how about a pick'em league?

No draft, no rooting for the competition. D-Train pays for the grand prize trip to Vegas.

I have been involved in those for years. I find it so much simpler and enjoyable.

Speaking of Pick em I do this one ever year. You just pick six teams at the beginning of the season and you are done. Who would you guys pick:
