When Wilson was bitching we should've traded him for Rogers straight up.

We'd still be 1 and 1. Just would have lost last week and won this week. Rodgers last week was like OT Russ from yesterday, but for an entire game!

And actually, Russ was pretty damn good yesterday until the 4th quarter or so. And how much does this change if we could run the damn football?

Again, Russ is teflon. The mistakes and blame never stick to him.

How can all of these other top QB's make changes and calls at the line. If we aren't running it, call a run. What are they going to do--pull him???

Man, never ever Russ's fault. 35+ million he should be able to be criticized or handle criticism. But, it is always the OC's Fault, the Head Coaches fault, the O-Lines fault, WR's fault, TE's fault, RB's fault, the defense's fault. Never Russ's.

But, he gets credit for every single comeback win they have ever done. Never the other way around. I truly see why Bennett and the crew were pissed.

I don't get that sense. I haven't had much time to watch anything national, but Pete called him out, Salk called him out, Brock called him out, Hell, even his boy Jake Heeps called him out.

Was it Russ's fault for all the stupid penalties? Did you see Russ out there trying to stop the run? I get it, you have issues with Russ. He has his flaws, but he's not under center this team would REALLY suck.

It would depend on who else was under Center. I mean, I would take Kyler Murray right about now! LOL

There was plenty of blame to go around. Russ played pretty well for three quarters, but good Lord, on the last three drives he looked like the guy we watched play QB in St Louis game 1 of his rookie year. Except he doesn't run now.

If we wanna play blame game, I would say

1. The O Line can't run block
2. Chris Carson is just not very good anymore
3. The Front 4 was BAD
4. The CBs are BAD
5. Russ was bad at the end
6. DK is a basket case
7. Stupid Penalties
8. Waldren looked like Schottenheimer
9. Norton has no clue
10. Pete is Pete

And I only have Russ that high because I agree with Aurora's take. If you are going to build the team around the offense, the offense needs to come through. Russ and the offense had THREE chances to ice that game, and couldn't do it.

I agree with all that. I'm not a huge fan of RW but he offers us a great chance at winning over probably 80% of the other starting QB's.
I think this run is done. I don't see this team getting more than 8 wins, maybe 9. Good enough for 3rd or 4th. Time to blow this thing up.

In this division? Could very well be true. If we can lose to the Titans at home after being up 14 in the 4th? We can lose to anyone.

I hope this isn't true, but a part of me wonders if Russ is disconnected. I am not sure I agree completely with Aurora's assessment that if he falls out of MVP consideration he will lose all interest, but I sure get an odd vibe from him now.

Can't he just get another mental health coach or does he need time to grieve?
