Just got an invite for a lunch from my Dept. head. Kind of a celebration to going back to the office I guess. But get this, it is two weeks so mid Oct in New England and it was clear that we are going to eat outside. Could be 40 degrees. Didn't mention Covid but obviously that is why. So we are being asked to go back into the office which is INDOORS for 8-10 hours a day but just two weeks prior we have to eat outside in cold because of Covid.

The best cold food is day old pizza. Take your own food, eat outside, then brag about how good cold pizza is.

I guess the old adage from worried mothers no longer applies, "Come inside or you'll catch Pneumonia!"

Believe me if the weather is slightly uncomfortable I will be eating inside by myself reading a Sodomojo.com article on game 3 of the M's White Sox ALCS on my phone.

This stupid shit is all over. Two weeks ago I went to the Sounders' match and everyone had to mask up in an open air stadium. Before the match we went to grab a couple brews at Sluggers. We had to have our mask on to get carded (lol), then once we got inside this totally packed bar, crammed full of people, no one wore a mask.
