Yep. My other half of the orange is on unpaid leave right now. She is using the time during winter months to build up her health then go back in February. We have some money in the bank but eventually she has to get the jab and go back to work. Now in Manhattan they won't let you access certain financial buildings without the jab. I heard as of January Corporations statewide are changing the rules. Even if your client / visitor is vaccinated they will have to be registered through the system and by appointment. No more housecalls.ddraig wrote: ↑Mon Oct 18, 2021 8:05 pmGo into teaching, where it doesn't matter if you are liberal or conservative! There is only one alternative. In other news, Colin Powell dies of COVID. He was vaccinated. Granted, he had underlying health issues like "CANCER", but it's all about the COVID don't you know?!

I don't think Lynda would be excited about the 75% pay cut. lolddraig wrote: ↑Mon Oct 18, 2021 8:05 pmGo into teaching, where it doesn't matter if you are liberal or conservative! You could go into farming. Long hours, but plenty of room for doggies and no prick bosses. Lots of land our here in North Spokane - come on out DT.D-train wrote: ↑Mon Oct 18, 2021 7:26 pmWas just on Team Meeting with my colleagues and they were talking about going to the Theater for the first time since the start of the Pandemic and they were excited that vaccine cards and masks were required. I would love it. I had a fisher price farm when I was a kid and always dreamed of having one with one of each type of animal. I could never figure out why my Aunt and Uncles Dairy farm in Enumclaw had so many cows and nothing else. lolSpokaneCoug wrote: ↑Wed Oct 20, 2021 7:06 pmYou could go into farming. I assume you are being sarcastic. Because you obviously know nothing about farming. The long hours are the least of your worries. Paying a 16 year old over $14 per hour to move irrigation pipe is absurd. Paying unskilled labor that high of minimum wage coupled with all the fuel you use....good luck making a living.SpokaneCoug wrote: ↑Wed Oct 20, 2021 7:06 pmYou could go into farming. Cost of beef is down.
Cost of grain is down.
Cost of hay is stable, so a hay farm may work, but you have a shit pot of labor and fuel costs...not to mention the continual equipment servicing.

You're not a dog guy and obviously a stick in the mud at parties. Delete my golf/drinking invites.Walla Walla Dawg II wrote: ↑Wed Oct 20, 2021 7:24 pmI assume you are being sarcastic. Dude, wasn't getting into the weeds about farming. Was a tongue and cheek comment to DT about options without prick bosses/shit companies. That was it.
Re: Vaccine vs. Mask
Not to mention the cost of insurance and the seed plus water. I have relatives in Nebraska. Corn farmers. They are "millionaires" if you look at their income. But after paying everything from taxes to seed, they clear about $60,000 a year. Not exactly living "high on the hog!' (Sorry for that!)Walla Walla Dawg II wrote: ↑Wed Oct 20, 2021 7:24 pmI assume you are being sarcastic. Because you obviously know nothing about farming. The long hours are the least of your worries.
