Met's sign Eduardo Escobar. 2.4 WAR and .786 OPS INFer. 2 years $25M total.

btw I didn't know Verlander got two years for $50M. That's a lot of coin for a guy that old coming off of TJ surgery. Hopefully that bites them on the ASStro.

The second year for Verlander is a player option.

I was curious how the market would play out. There does seem an early push by the teams that were predicted to get in early, teams less concerned with salary cap restrictions...For all Dipotos talk of being aggressive, haven't seen much

Marte the first guy that would've been a big get. Seems like a very reasonable contract.

Has to have Conforto sucking wind on his asking price.
