Man, the Rangers are just outbidding themselves, like they did with A-Rod 22 years ago.

Seager's a guy we should have drafted in the first place. He had all the hype going into the draft, He would have been playing next to his brother, but instead for some reason we took Zunino.

Well, that's it then. We have to sign Correa for 20 years and $1B.

Seriously. The Rangers suddenly became legit in 48 hours.

With Semien, Gray, Calhoun and Seager? Not even. Those four guys aren't going to even going to take that team to .500, the rest of the team still sucks and it's not like their youngsters are anything great.

Yeah I was wondering - are the Rangers even close?? Bit of a head scratcher to me that they are dominating the big name FA's this offseason...

They were heavy favorites to land Suzuki (although that's clearly not a done deal).

They have arguably the best middle infield in baseball right now, and they aren't done yet. There's a lot of big bats on the table.

These 2 guys are their cornerstone pieces and they build the team around them. Add a couple more bats this year and then 1 or 2 TOR guys next year, and they are AL West contenders.

That said, they have half a billion dollars sunk into 2 guys. I'm no GM, but unless you have the best farm system in baseball it seems like a risky move.

I thought Seager wanted to win? Not going to do a lot of it in Arlington

Not going to lie, this one really hurts me. I've wanted Corey since the end of last season when he dominated the postseason. He's a stud. Just entering his prime now. I can't believe we just let the history with Kyle preclude us from even making an offer. If we went 11 $341m, youre telling me he says no
