We got Ray
Re: We got Ray
Reynolds is not getting traded!
And of course the Nats have fielded calls on Soto, likewise every team on probably every one of their players worth a bag of balls. That's the nature of the game!
Where is the quote that has Cherington saying they are open to moving Reynolds?

I know, it's like if you look at your feed frequently it'll get the free agents signed faster.
Re: We got Ray
Try to sign Tyler A. for that 5th spot?
Re: We got Ray
Agree. Use the money for bats. We have plenty of internal options for a 5th starter.SeattleSportsRUs wrote: ↑Mon Nov 29, 2021 10:37 pmWhy in God's name would the Mariners want to bring Tyler Anderson back. That loser blew the season for us with his last 2 starts. He had a 4.81 ERA for the M's.
Maybe the M's should also be looking at Erasmo Ramirez too? Why not Mike Leake while we're at it? They're both F/A's fully capable of sucking as hard as Anderson.

Wander Franco just inked an extension and with interpreter and the gm of the rays talked about how good of a fit he is moving forward. Sometimes I shake my head with your ideas and can only hope your not serious.
We need 2 more bats. It would be fantastic to add Bryant at third or Olson at first or Seiya in left or even Schwarber at Dh, Even another trade of Reynolds, Contreras, Ramirez or Marte. We simply cannot be done at this level.

We already know Cherington got rebuffed at the deadline when he asked for JRod.Vogelbomb wrote: ↑Mon Nov 29, 2021 11:12 pmReynolds is not getting traded!

= on the market.
When we add a Rodon or Stroman now that we have Ray, it opens up the possibility of a Gilbert centerpiece.
Keep acting like it couldn't happen though, makes it much more fun to rub in once it does.

Why letting them off the hook easy when they have the ability to write another check and do both?
