Not quite the headlines as Lincoln Riley created.....a big shrug from me.
I guess the up side is that he is friends with Tedford.....being his OC before Tedford had to retire. Now, can he talk Tedford into taking the OC position for a couple years?

Sounds like a good offensive mind. Now please find a good DC.

and yes please if we can get Tedford as OC, or at least to reprise his adviser role that he had in Browning's record-breaking CFP year.
Re: Kalen DeBoer
also heard that Haener might come with him. i didnt like "Rudy" when he was here before because i didnt want a rookie noodle-armed QB to start over the potential all-world but also inexperienced cannon arm Eason. but now that Haener has developed with 2 years starting at Fresno, including a near upset of the Ducks in which he dramatically outplayed the opposing QB, for just one grad year season to mentor boy wonder Sam (or at least provide some competition), i'd be down for that.

Fresno can keep Haener.

Maybe they can re-hire Lake to be the DB coach.

Re: Kalen DeBoer
Fuck'em. He has done enough damage. If he had his way and nobody would question him, he would run a 2-0-9 defense.Sibelius Hindemith wrote: ↑Mon Nov 29, 2021 11:38 pmMaybe they can re-hire Lake to be the DB coach.
2 big guys up front
0 line backers
9 defensive backs
But his passing numbers would be nil.

Re: Kalen DeBoer
Seems like a good hire, he's had Fresno State playing well, they almost went 3-0 against ranked teams this season, and his staff has put together a really strong offense with Jake Haener at QB. Hopefully he can get that out of Huard, who clearly has yet to he coached.
