Any rumors to Seattle being linked to Rodon because I'd be all in on him. Load up on starters then deal from depth. Doesn't mean you still can't add a big FA bat. Say sign Bryant &/or Suzuki then trade for another bat.
Sounds like a smart plan

Ray is from Tennessee. Guessing he agrees with me. I can see why you might not. No place like home.
Well, yes. Home is home. But if you back a truck of money up to someone, you can convince them to move all kinds of places.

High taxes. Yep. But you never, ever see a doctor’s bill. Like, ever. Not an issue if you’re making $5M a year, I suppose. But still.

Low population density. Higher quality of life and longer life expectancy. practically no gun violence. Legal pot nationwide. Second country to legalize same sex marriage. Etc etc.

Hey - not bagging on the US. I choose to live here and love it. But there’s upsides to Canada.

As for the Buffalo thing - had to. Borders were ostensibly closed in both sides at the height of the pandemic. I haven’t seen my parents who are in their mid 80-s in two years. Covid fucking sucks.

Anyhow - not trying to take us down a rabbit hole. Just a few thoughts from someone who lived half their life in the US and half in Canada.

And they have won 2 more World Series than we have. Groan.
Good stuff, thanks for this info.

I don't know about you guys, but I'm ecstatic about Ray.
That is so true. The most beautiful country on planet earth, world class fishing, friendly people, I travel there 4 times a year and our family has maintained at least one cabin on kootenai lake since the 1960’s. I have stored a fishing boat in Ucluelet,BC for years and sadly haven’t been able to go for 2 yrs going on 3. COVID sucks in any country or language.

Non essential travel was banned in both directions at the height of the pandemic. The US lifted it first, but you couldn’t go either direction for a while - at least not for the purposes of visiting.

A bunch of guys - some vaccinated others not - in close proximity to a bunch of other guys not wearing masks likely had immigration with their panties in a twist.

Only problem is it if you do that and then they run out of money and can't make trades or don't want to make trades as j.d. said he doesn't want to trade top prospects then I got to watch a dog s*** offense for another full year

That's what I thought Point Roberts was basically trapped for almost a year because of the asinine closures. After the US Open up
