Re: RW wants to explore his options
His trade value might be high, but who plays QB? I don't believe the guy to lead us to our next Super Bowl is in the next draft, or available in FA. So, we trade RW and trade for someone else, or we don't compete. Sorry guys, Joe Burrow aint in the draft. Joe Flacco aint even in the draft.
Re: RW wants to explore his options
I would put the chances of a trade next off season IF we miss the playoffs again at about 25-30%. This offseason? 0.00057%

How about the guy with the tiny hands? Think he played for Pitt. He could be the next Dave Krieg!Michael K. wrote: ↑Fri Feb 04, 2022 7:31 pmHis trade value might be high, but who plays QB? I think they would need to get something back more than draft picks. There be either a young prospect type or a sevicable vet like the Lions - Rams deal...Hey, that Rams trade worked out pretty well for them
Re: RW wants to explore his options
Yeah we probably could have got back an even better package than the Rams did.Donn Beach wrote: ↑Sun Feb 06, 2022 2:26 amI think they would need to get something back more than draft picks. That the kind of deal it need to be, they aren't interested in rebuilding. So who could it be...Carr? Mayfield? Rogers? Or trade him for draft picks and trade those for one of them

Re: RW wants to explore his options
It would be interesting to see what a taller, less mobile QB could do here. Would they get sacked a lot or would their ability to see the field better allow them to find the short and mid-range targets and hence get rid of the ball.
Re: RW wants to explore his options
Nope, could have traded RW for Stafford and we could have got a 1st round pick back.Sibelius Hindemith wrote: ↑Sun Feb 06, 2022 10:14 pmDon't you mean "than the Lions did"?D-train wrote: ↑Sun Feb 06, 2022 2:47 amYeah we probably could have got back an even better package than the Rams did.Donn Beach wrote: ↑Sun Feb 06, 2022 2:26 amI think they would need to get something back more than draft picks. Yep and that would require RW demanding a trade. Not happening.Donn Beach wrote: ↑Mon Feb 07, 2022 2:56 amThat the kind of deal it need to be, they aren't interested in rebuilding. So who could it be...Carr? Mayfield? Rogers? Or trade him for draft picks and trade those for one of them
