Mariotta is interesting. Personally, in your scenario? I would still take Willis. The more I think about what I have seen out of him at Louisville the more excited I am. I don't think he would be as accurate as Russ, but back in 2012 neither was Russ!
Yes, Marcus had a 4.48 40 out of O. I don't know if he is healthy or like Wilson slowed down as we all do over time. But, if he is still mobile that would be a nice element to deploy.
I think I would rather root for a sexual deviant than a Duck. lol
Aren't they the same thing?

if they trade for Watson, I think that would be the straw the breaks my back. It makes no sense giving up basically what they got for Russ to acquire a player of similar skills, with a contract that is more than Russ' that will definitely want to throw the ball more and oh, is a known sexual predator. The Seahawks do due diligence on EVERY top player that might be available, and always get lumped into the rumor mill because of it, but I can't think of a time when those rumors have proved to be true. I really hope this one isn't.
Again did he rape anybody did he hold them at gunpoint did he hit them. I think people might be blowing this just a tad out of portion. Is he a pervert, yes. Did they have free will to leave. Again these are until proven guilty all ACCUSATIONS & nothing more if he's indicted or found guilty that changes the scope of things. Again does he deserve a 2nd chance, yes but I would say should definitely be watched closely. I guarantee if he took us to the Super Bowl people's perspective of him would change. Imagine how Steeler fans feel about Big Ben or Atlanta fans feel about Vick. Again lets let this thing play out in the courts before we go around falsely accusing anyone of a crime. He's a proven commodity.
this is a psychotic take on it, an argument a sexual predator would make - "well yeah, he did some stuff, but look at all the WORSE stuff he COULD have done". How do you feel about Bill Cosby? He didn't hold them at gunpoint or hit them either. What about pedophiles that molest 4 year olds? They weren't held at gunpoint either. Watson is a large man, professional athlete, with considerable influence, and those women were just trying to make a living - they put up with a lot, because there could be repercussions to resisting. That is your gunpoint that kept them from walking away, and he took advantage of that.

Also, you cannot guarantee people's perspective of him would change. That is bullshit. Super Bowls are great, but I don't change my opinion about a human being because they won a game. I'll have some sympathy for someone that made an honest mistake or did something that didn't hurt anybody (like gambling or a DUI), but he hurt a bunch of people so fuck him.
What repercussions? Was he gonna blackmail them if they didn't do what he said. Just like him they are grown ass adults capable of making wise decisions. Again I'm not condoning what he did but it's not like he could of done worse. Again how did he hurt people. Bill Cosby did sick shit too he's also 50 years older & probably not all the way upstairs anymore. If this was a recurring thing I could see it but it wouldn't preclude me from trading for him. The notion that someone would compare this to a child predator is laughable. Kids are far more vulnerable. That's far more reprehensible then what transpired here. Again proven commodity. Is he a sick person yes I'm sure he's not the only NFL player to have partaken in this type of activity he was just dumb enough to get caught just like Vick & AB & Big Ben.

Oops, I got him mixed up with Cunningham. I guess I am a racist.
No, i thought you were just illustrating the point about him being inaccurate. 8-)

Just throwing it out there, but DK Metcalf and Matt Corral did play together for 1 season at Old Miss. Maybe the Hawks try and draft Corral based on that. They seem to have spent quite a bit of time talking with Corral recently. I wonder if they've asked DK for any input on Corral?

To make the superbowl it takes a good QB and coach combo.
Now that RW is gone...begs to question...How long will PC continue to coach???

The more i've thought about it the last day or two the more I think it would be far better if we did a rebuild of this thing. I know DW is a good QB and we'd lose nothing from RW to him and probably even gain a QB more willing to throw the ball without the WR needing to be open by 5 yards or streaking down the field for a 50yard pass. We just have too many glaring holes on the team right now. We aren't a QB away from a SB run.

That being said i'm sad we didn't see Pete announce his retirement saying he didn't want to go through a rebuild, etc. If they trade all the pics we just got and even throw in some others like a 3rd or 4th rounder meaning we cut our picks in half - then I see Pete lasting 2 more years. 2 more years of mediocre football and barely missing the playoffs and he's going to get fired. Next year he'll get a warning from Ownership to right the ship and then finally the axe on the 2nd year of no change.

Yep most of our top picks and cap space would be instantly gone again. Watson is good but not great and is obviously a mental midget. Hard Pass. Let's get a fresh start.

When JS and PC came to SEA, they went on a massive rebuild via the draft, the acquisition of Lynch, etc. So there's no reason to think that they can't do it again. But will they? Perhaps someone can lend some clarity on this, but PC knew a lot of quality, underrated players that he saw as 'diamonds in the rough' (Sherman and Baldwin come to mind) in his time at USC. But now that he's been out of the college game, he's not as informed as he once was, simply because he doesn't see these players anymore.

That, coupled with the notion that SEA is in 'win-now' mode (unless that's changed). Is a complete rebuild in the works?
