Dilly Dilly!
That'll be huge if Dylan can get back to being a .250 hitter with power. This offense is beginning to look good. Especially the youngsters. The old guys need to get it going.
Who had 18 yo Gabby hitting a bomb on there bingo card tonight. That is like some powerball odds stuff. lol
Could you're brain even process what might happen if he turned into ANOTHER Julio!!?

No. Julio is starting to make me understand how the Apostles felt about Jesus Christ. Very appropriate he was born during Christmas and is making his debut close to Easter.

What I love most about today is that despite going 2 for 3 with a homerun, my boy Kelenic also worked a walk to put the cherry on the Sunday! Having Julio and all this depth up here has to help his confidence.

Kelenic coming around. BA still at just .233, but he's had a bit of bad luck. His HR today off a lefty was encouraging.

What more can I say about Julio... unreal.

Toro continues to make a case for every day player, and taking a lot of AB away from Suarez.

Torrens needs AB this year. Not sure what position, hopefully his catching is improving, but he should be paying against every lefty.
The poster formerly known as Kingfelixk. With a new forum comes a new boardname. Julio is my guy, plus we share a birthday, so that's Culiooooo

The guy JK hit home run off was throwing lot of off speed junk in 81-84 range and he has had trouble with off speed

Thats all very encouraging to hear. It'd be great if we didn't have to use a platoon for Jarred and Winker.

Julio told the media today that he uses the "CALM" app every 10-15 min right before game time, and that it helps him out so much. If he doesn't, he said he doesn't feel right.

So I guess Julio created a major fire storm yesterday when he just posted a quote from his calm app onto his Instagram account. Something about patience being wisdom and everyone took it like he was told he wasn't going to be on the opening-day roster and freaked out. LOL

I LOVE that they let the young kids feel it.

[tweet]But the Mariners’ fifth and final homer of the day provided manager Scott Servais the biggest smile. Young outfield prospect Gabriel Gonzalez, who turned 18 in January, hit an opposite-field homer in the top of the ninth off right-hander Gabe Speier. Gonzalez is rated as the No. 9 prospect in the Mariners’ organization.

“Gabby has got serious bat speed,” Servais said. “He’s hit. He’s always gonna hit. He’s got a lot of baseball ahead of him. He’s a fun kid. He’s super excited, so happy for those kids to get in the game. They were a little nervous, but that’s what it’s about. They get a chance to get on a big-league field with some of the big-league players. It’s good experience for them.”[/tweet]

People are beginning to go crazy for this kid! It was evident enough when that guy who tracked Julio's ball in the grass bowled over 2 kids just to get to it. Had I seen him coming near my group, I would've lowered my shoulder and form tackled his ass. Not the first I've done it either. Probably won't be my last. I hate those guys.
