Clase is really intriguing. I've kinda got my eye on Robert Perez as well. He broke out a bit last year. And it's good to see Arroyo having early success.

Yes, great stuff with those guy. Hate to be the buzz kill and I know its early but I still think the Ford over Watson will haunt us.

After 4 games Ford with a .421 OPS and Watson 1.242

The only part of that post that makes a bit of difference.

Is not the only thing that matters, but ultimately doesn't mean anything if he doesn't keep it up.

He's done that pretty much through his whole Minor page career though...

I was tempted to take off work Thursday afternoon to watch the Everett AquaSox play at the Hillsboro Hops:

A strong five innings from Everett righthander Isaiah Campbell, who on only 58 pitches surrendered one hit while walking one and striking out six.

The televised Mariner home opener and frigid weather notwithstanding, I may go the the Everett/Hillsboro matchup Friday evening to watch AquaSox lefthander Adam Macko, who was written up in The Athletic on Wednesday:

I'm still really high on Campbell. I think he has a floor of a 7-8 inning reliever with a ceiling as a mid rotation starter. So many righties that the Mariners have in their system.

Love the mustache too...

Damn. I missed Noelvi Marte's ninth-inning home run this afternoon:

Deloach got off to a slow start in Arkansas last year. Glad to see he's doing better to start this season.
