Haven't seen anything about an attitude other than he is supposed to have a infectious smile
Yeah I don't either. Dude literally fell in our lap but they were dead set on the power lifter.

.Watson suffered the steepest slide of the night by dropping to No. 16. It stands to reason that he was hurt more by Marcelo Mayer and Jordan Lawlar slipping than anyone else, given that each of the three play the same position and that Mayer and Lawlar were considered superior. Mayer went fourth to the Red Sox and Lawlar was picked sixth by the Diamondbacks. Still, that aspect explains only some of his fall, and it’s worth wondering if teams were scared off, or if the Marlins just landed one of the potential steals of the first round.
They liked Ford better and so far don't see evidence that was a mistake. Phillies, Giants and Brewers all passed on him after the Mariners did as well. Zaidi passed on him, I might know more about baseball than Dipoto, but I doubt I know more about it than Farhan Zaidi
.During batting practice in front of GM Jerry Dipoto and others, Ford wowed with his ability to drive the ball consistently the other way to right-center field, doing so with a weighted sleeve on his bat and reminding some of Edgar Martinez's approach to hitting. When asked to shed the extra weight and pull the ball, the right-hander showed ridiculous raw power, hitting balls out to his pull side with ease. Sure, it was just a BP session, but it spoke to the confidence Ford has in his approach and feel for hitting, all of which showed up after he signed.
We shall see

Though id rather not spend Ford's entire career second guessing the pick. I don't see it as unreasonable for whatever reasons they picked him. You can go through every draft second guessing picks

Much like Rendon being available when they selected Hultzen, many thought it was a bad pick from the start.

Which, I'm sure, is why tracking the progress from the "obvious" pick and the Mariners prom king pick is worth doing.

You don't have to be opposed to everything somebody says just to be opposed to it you know...

The thing with Hultzen is that there were already indications he was a higher than normal injury risk.
