If she's raped, resulting in a pregnancy she did not have any free will with creating, and did not bring on herself, is the only type of argument there should even be for having "the choice" of abortion available.

Wouldn't that result in a number of pregnant women that wanted an abortion falsely claiming they were raped? What is wrong with having a time limit like 3 months (or whatever the amount of time before there could be a detectable heartbeat) and certainly long enough for someone to realize they are pregnant.

When claiming rape the story better check out. If DNA showed the baby was actually her longtime boyfriends, Lucy has some 'splainin to do if she doesn't want to face murder charges.

What is wrong with it? I'll "trust the science" to tell that story. If a single celled organism is proof of life on Mars, a baby forming in the womb at any point is not just "a clump of cells".

I suppose you could say that the fertilized egg dividing into multiple cells and further diving and differentiating into the various organs and body parts ... this is the miracle of human life. And I think I said before, I get and respect the viewpoint (although this is not my viewpoint) that abortion is always wrong and is murder. But my two questions for any "pro-life" person will always be:

1. At what point does the zygote/bioclast/embryo/fetus become a "person" who has a right to live? Is it immediately upon fertilization of the egg? (i.e., the zygote stage) Or is it when organs are differentiated, or when there is a detectable heartbeat, or ... ?

2. If the embryo/fetus has a right to live, and killing it/her/him is murder, why should there be exceptions for rape or incest? Person M raped person F, creating person B. If is it wrong to kill person B, why does the nature of conception make a difference?

For those who feel an unborn baby is not a human being but only a fetus, I have one question. Why does the baby have different DNA than that of the mother? If the unborn baby is just a lump of cells, why don't the baby and the mother have the same DNA? Seems to me that different DNA means it is an individual human being. Just a thought.

At what point do you call it a baby? I would agree of course that at any stage of development it is a separate life form.
