I have that show on every weekday morning from 8am - 9am. Just a classic.

How dare you mention that traditional American family show!
You Sir must be a racist.

Seriously this was one of my favorites. Even the brotherly love between Wally and Beaver.
They fought like dogs at times and pranked one another but in the end stood up for each other. :(

Sad news nonetheless. Julie and I watched all 234 episodes of Leave It to Beaver in order about 10 years ago. One of my all-time favorite shows.

This was the first I'd heard that Tony Dow was ill. Fuck cancer.

Wow, that is about 40 a year. They were prolific back in the day.

Yep sad news.

Oops!

Still watch the show when I can. Beaver was my hero in grade school! Dow is 77 now. The same age my dad was when he died.

Very sad indeed. Was my absolute favorite show growing up and rarely missed an episode. Nothing else compared to it at that time for me.

Cheers to you Tony Dow, and when that time arrives, may you RIP.

Hopefully this is a blessing in disguise and Tony is enjoying reading all of the nice things people said about him thinking he was dead.

But man how did that happen.
