When was the procedure? Based on the fact that he can only play every other day, and basically once a week in the OF? I'd say the repair didn't work worth a shit.

Who said either one? So, you think he is still suffering from concussion symptoms, so they PLAY HIM EVER OTHER DAY? Shut the fuck up dude. Everyone is talking about the knee, the knee is the reason he can't play OF and the reason he sits every other day. Look at the comment I responded to. How long ago was the fucking knee repair we are STILL waiting on a recovery from? THAT is what I asked. Fuck the concussion, once he plays ONE FUCKING GAME, he is cleared. He is sitting now from the knee. So, if we are still waiting to see if the repair worked, I'd say it has been to fucking long. Go do the STEM process.

Read the fucking conversation you are responding too before you come in with your bullshit. The concussion has nothing to do with this situation. Unless you actually think there is a dr anywhere that said "Welp, you haven't recoverd yet, but let's see what happens if you just play every other day". That followed up what manager Scott Servais told Mariners radio broadcaster Rick Rizzs ahead of Seattle’s 7-0 loss on Friday. Servais called Lewis’ surgery a “minor” procedure to “clean up a meniscus issue.”

So, 13 and a half months ago, he had a "minor procedure" that he still hasn't recoverd from. SO, the actual conversation I was responding to? Why he hasn't tried STEM? I would say, if the answer is as was suggested, they are waiting to see how the repair went? Not sure that is a great thing.

Lewis is day to day as the Mariners attempt to ease him back, and as such, he will exclusively see time at DH for the foreseeable future. A return to the outfield any time soon -- and all of the physical burdens of quick cuts, extended running and more exertion on the knee -- is not on the table.

“We’re just trying to do what’s best and what I can manage and handle, to help the team while I’m trying to build up as well,” Lewis said. “I talked to my team and the guys here, and I felt there was an opportunity to help, so that’s what I’m up here to do. I don’t know what to expect as far as performance-wise. I definitely expect a lot of myself when I play.”
