Jeez, Kyle Lewis might be the next Griffey.
Took a slider off the plate and below the knees, and turned it into a double. Great hitting there.

Speaking of tanking, JP Crawford has plummeted back to the real world hasn't he?

Still fine for a shortstop, but having that power would sure be a nice bonus.

What we're seeing from Lewis isn't far off from what we should be expecting from RF, LF, 1B and DH. This fanbase is soft and accepts mediocrity.
Like Santana's fielding. Blech
Yeah, his fielding's been terrible. But, if he puts up the 1.000 OPS he's capable of we'll all shrug our shoulders and be just fine with it as long as it's as good as he showed in RF, which was, fine, if the bat's there.

If his bat doesnt get back to what he's already shown he can do he won't have much more rope either. He deserves first half 2020, unlike Mallex.

Strange.

3 more years, $69 Mil.

On the opposite end of the spectrum, Dee looks about 9 years old at the plate.

Vogelbach since July 31, .150 with a .600 OPS. Ouch. Go back to June 30, its .168 with .656 OPS. He hasn't adjusted as the league has adjusted to him.

Important game for the Orioles, with a win they’re just 54 games under .500.
