Great pull.
Torrens hit .163/.446 that season. I would imagine it is pretty rare given they have to be kept on the roster the entire season...
I would think teams would look at BPJs K rate and not think he would fair well vs. big league pitching....

Joe Rizzo update. He's been playing 3b/dh. In age 24 season in AA. Went 3-for-5 last night w/ 2r. He's hitting .270/.340/.465/.805 over 500 PAs in a tough hitter's league. I think he's got potential at 3b if Suarez gets hurt next yr.
And shit, can't continue to overlook Cade Marlowe! Marlowe hammered two HRs last night, 3-for-5 with 2 bombs, 2b, 3 runs 5rbi. He's slashing .285/.380/.460 w/ 35sb over 115g at AA. Plays CF. Age 25

Also, with 5 more IP on Wednesday, Emerson Hancock is up to 89.1 IP. However, his WHIP and ERA are climbing as his last 3 starts he's been hit pretty good. Now at a 3.65 ERA and 1.16 WHIP. He's probably tiring a bit. This is good, though. We need him to pitch a full season (and he'll be completing 5 months w/ full sept) to prepare him for next yr. We should expect him to compete with Brash, Dollard and Flexen and Marco if they're still around for no. 5 spot in the rotation next yr.
I'm excited to see what Hancock will do in age 24 season next year now that he's been stretched out again over a full yr.

That's awesome, would be great to actually see Gilbert, Kirby and Hancock in the rotation.
Might help us heal from the Paxton/Hultzen/Walker episode...

Yep I predicted he would top 100 IPs which means at least 130-150 next season.Vogelbomb wrote: ↑Fri Sep 09, 2022 8:52 pmAlso, with 5 more IP on Wednesday, Emerson Hancock is up to 89.1 IP.
