Curious to see if any others get the promotion. Maybe Rizzo or Scheiner?
The should be but you would think they would do them all at once. Lewis is down to .241 at Tacoma... Just shut him down and give him one more shot next ST. If he still can't run DFA him.... next man up.
Marlowe is first time rule 5 eligible. I can see him getting extra playing time.
Do you know who all needs to be protected this year?

Tonight, 2nd baseman Luis Torrens - 4-4 with a bb, 2 runs scored, double, homerun, 3 rbi's.
.274 \ .309 \ .548 \ .857
Fourth game playing second, no errors yet in 36 innings on the diamond.

Looks like he wants to expand his versatility.
Rocky Colavito is a Hall of Famer in my book!

Yeah they probably didn't promote him to sit him on the bench.

Yeah he has been playing 2B for a while and still hasn't hit until last night.

Pretty sure Joe Rizzo is another name of those that need to be protected on the 40. I know we have a ton of pitchers who need protection including Campbell, Dollard. Marlowe is a lock to be protected so we're definitely going to see some 40-man pruning this offseason.
Sheffield, Then, Valdez and trading Marco, Flexen are options in the pitching side. Frazier is an FA who will leave and Ellis is an INF we can drop.

Can't believe how much Sheff sucks.

Trade Winker, Casila gone, Toro should be gone, Boruki or Bernandino, Santana gone, Derek Hill, Alberto Rodriguez would clear waivers as well.

Alberto has actually been decent this year, just isn't hitting HR for some reason. Even if he clears waivers, can he elect to be a free agent? Well be interesting to see what they do. This is where losing a year of development due to covid really hurts.

He hit 10 HRs last year which is crazy because he is built like me.
5-11, 227lb (180cm, 102kg)
difference is this year he has a middling BA of .261 vs. 295 and meh OBP of .336 vs. .383....If we really need a spot which I don't think we will be desperate for one, they should drop him...

He's cooled off the last few weeks, but over a stretch of 3 months he hit .297/.369/.433/.802. Only 5 HR over that stretch though, so the OPS isn't great. No idea why a guy that's 227 isn't hitting more HR.

LOL, Tacoma has more games left than Arkansas. I wanted him promoted to get extra playing time.
