https://theathletic.com/3877416/2022/11 ... es-roster/Tier 6: Trade candidates
Gleyber Torres, 2B: Torres had his best offensive season since 2019 and wasn’t a liability defensively with the Yankees turning him into a second baseman once again. Torres hit 24 home runs and had a .761 OPS. He’s under this tier because if the Yankees want to make room for Cabrera to be an everyday player or to call up No. 1 prospect Anthony Volpe, Torres is the likeliest candidate to be dealt. He’s under team control for two more seasons and is projected to earn around $10 million in arbitration. It does hurt his trade value at that number, but the Yankees might be able to land a decent starting pitcher in return or a good prospect.

Dodgers unlocked something in him this year. I don't he's as good for the Mariners if he'd stayed.

Rays seem to only be good at developing pitching too.
They just traded Xavier Edwards who was a top-100 prospect in 2020, 2021 for scraps.
Vidal Brujan was basically a top 50 prospect in baseball and has a .487 OPS in 52 career games.
Greg Jones was a top 100 prospect in 2022... posted a .710 OPS in AA.
Josh Lowe was a top 50 prospect in 2022... posted a .627 OPS in the Majors this past season.
Brandon McKay was a top 20 prospect in 2018 and top 100 from 2021-2022... they just released him.
^^^ This made up what was once a top-3 farm in baseball.
OOF.

MASSIVE!!! Yeah massive level of stupidity. Moreno prob just lowered the sales price of the Franchise by $39M. lolSeattle or Bust wrote: ↑Tue Nov 15, 2022 10:53 pmApparently signing a 5 starter w. a career ERA over 4.00 is a sign that the Angels are really going for it and it could inspire superstar pitchers to join in on the effort:

Minutes away from the MOY announcement. My guess is Hyde, SS, Francona in that order.
