It would be a lot funnier if Herbert wasn't costing me dearly in Fantasy. Between him and Jonathan Taylor I am really irritated with all of the pre season hype being dead wrong. I am fighting for my playoff life with a roster that is absolutely loaded, or, better yet, should be.
Dude! You have a Duck on your FT?

I am trying to win money in Fantasy. I have to separate my fandom. I also have Geno in one league and am now starting him on the regular. OVER Herbert. Yep, got Herbert in two leagues. BIG HUGE mistake. He is maybe one of the biggest busts this year. And again, like always happens with the Chargers. Just a bunch of excuses. It's like reading about why Russell Wilson sucks. It's never on them. Herbert is scared of his shadow, just like Russ.

seriously? the dude is playing through a rib injury.
btw, i talso have both Herbert and J. Taylor on my fantasy team, as well as Mike Williams, so all those injuries have been a lot to overcome for sure. but my backup is Derek Carr, so needless to say i have not benched Herbert once other than his bye week.

rib injuries will fuck with you. Even if it's well padded and pretty much healed, your body doesn't quite torque right and mentally you know everything is going to hurt more. Add in an elbow injury, and you have a QB that isn't able to do those little things that take him from average to elite. Think we've seen that from a couple of QBs this year 8-)

He hurt the ribs eight weeks ago. If they are that bad he shouldn't have been on the field. Watch him throw and tell me it is physical. He can make every throw, but he doesn't have his safety blanket in Mike Williams who he can just chuck it up to and prey. He is scared to death dude. Look at Sunday nights game. Watch the TD and the throw that the guy got tackled on the one or two. There is NOTHING wrong with his ability to throw a football, and everything wrong with his head.

He takes hits and is fine and makes throws just fin. He is playing scared and so is his team and their head coach, and still? Everyone makes excuses. It's been going on for years, the team that can fuck up the most and never get blamed for it is the Chargers. They are not good. They barely beat the Raiders in week 1. Then got beat by the Chiefs and Jaguars before squeaking by the Texans. Should have lost to the Browns and Broncos and barely beat the Falcons who just got whooped by the Panthers. They are bad dude, but all we hear are the excuses. The problem is the coach is over his head and the QB isn't tough enough. They are 5 and 4 and should be 1 and 8.
