Marlowe, Trammell and Kelenic should battle for 4th OF spot in ST, and all have options still I believe. That means Mariners need a DH and LF. My guess is they only add 1 of the 2 spots and rely on these 3 for DH/LF and 4th OF

Yeah, I think they add an OFer that starts OD in LF. If JK starts at DH opening day. :? :|

When JK has been up he played almost every day. I can't fathom how he would hit with sporadic ABs of a 4th or 5th OFer...

Shows how unimpressive Kelenic is in reality.

Never outperformed his peers and still had the red carpet rolled out for him.

I still partially blame the media for dog-piling on the service-time-manipulation train and putting the pressure on the Mariners to promote him.

And of course Dipoto for caving to those pansies.

They won't be that sporadic. Haggerty is the 5th OF, and he'll play mostly against lefties.

JK and his agent leaned into it as well, so they deserves as much or more of the blame.

The media was dumb, and anyone that exaggerated what Bather said was as well. Maybe is an Ass, and said everything in an arrogant, and horrible way, but most of the crap was 90 % overblown

Sam put up 2.2 WAR and a .738 OPS in 201 PAs. JK put up -0.2 WAR and a .534 OPS in 181 PAs. F-ing ludicrous to put JK 4th and Sam 5th.

Most of Haggertys at was against lefties. They simply won't have that many. You will get diminished returns if he faces too many righties. And it's not JK, it's whoever earns the job or of JK, Trammell, Marlowe that should be getting those AB. F'ing follow what I've been saying.

Reason Haggerty gets fewer AB, he's not good as a lefty, and they won't face many lefties. Haggerty brings more value as a late inning pinch hitter against lefties, and punch runner than starting against righties. He's also a utility guy that should get some time in the infield as well
