Anthony Santander or Austin Hays would fit the bill for a corner outfielder. Both are solid players, but not the type you build around. Santander has two years of control, Hays has three. Both seem like they should be gettable.
Yep or this Brian Anderson joker.

I'd be quite a bit happier with Hays or Santander than I would be with Anderson. Anderson is the type of player a second division team acquires looking for upside.

I swear you could take half the M's fan base, put them on an aircraft carrier, send it to the middle of Pacific Ocean and sink it and the average IQ of the Washington St. would go up 10%.

Kody Duncan writes for a Pirates blog and has about 7k followers. Medium credibility but saw one of his tweets and laughed. Fans WAY overestimate no financial reasons FAs choose their destinations.

So, I was watching
Locked On” and Kolby Patnode had said something about Divish thinking the M’s were waiting for the Pirates to move things along with the Reynolds deal. He speculated that last year the Pirates and M’s may have been closer to a deal then most know. Kinda like the Teo trade.

Putting 2,3,4 top 100 types is pretty easy for the M’s.

They said that Joel Doyle thought the #30 pick and the 2.5M in allotment money should be valued as a top 80 prospect so top 100 just not elite or top 1/2 even but still. Ford, Miller, Hancock, Young, GG, even guys like TT, JK that are young players. And former top 100s could appeal to them. Flexen might even appeal to them.

If the M’s could get a Reynolds deal done without making another hole this would be great. That means none of the Gilbert/Kirby/Cal/

I think Reynolds is one of the better options out there he has over an .800 OPS against both RH/LH and hit righties a little better at over .850 OPS. I think that we have the same weakness that Toronto has in that we are too right handed heavy. Right now the best lefty bat is Cal and he looks like a #5 hitter.

I admit it is probably long odds but probably no worse than 15 to 1 or so.

I'm pretty much out on Reynolds. He's a good player but there are other players out there that can fill the hole.
