Really came down to us having two players having great games. The relievers were good but the rest of the 8 in the lineup didn't really show up...

Yes, to a large extent I agree. We did have a few baserunners in scoring position, but couldn't get them across the plate.

I saw a few well hit balls fade in the outfield. I heard several people saying that the heavy, marine air held them in the ballpark, and that they would have been home runs in Coors field in July. No excuses. But there was some good contact being made.

For me, this was the absolute highlight of the game. Brash just corkscrewed JRam with whatever silly shit that was (slurve?) I have this gif looping in the background right now, and it just makes me all warm and gooey inside. Our bullpen is looking nasty.

He sure as hell did! And it wasn't even with his slider(his best pitch). Pitch tracker had it as a Knuckle curve!

The pitch ninja showed a bunch of pitches from Brash against the white Sox last April and called them knuckle curves. It might be more of a slurve ball. Whatever the freak it is, it’s damn good
