If we needed a QB, I'd consider it. We don't, though, so no. Some team will.

I forget who it was, but a former GM of the year was on NFL Network and said something that resonated: You have musts, needs, and wants. At BEST, QB is a 'want' for the Seahawks right now. Definitely not a must, almost definitely not a need. That's why it makes no sense to take a QB at #5 unless you are sure he's a future superstar.

For the Seahawks, I see it as:
MUSTS: DT, G, C, MLB (need immediate starters)
NEEDS: RB, WR, CB, EDGE (need top backups, potential starters)
WANTS: T, TE, S, QB

Good analysis, Addict. I see QB as a "gee, that would be nice, but..." The concerns are the four you mention as "Musts." I can see the Hawks using their top four picks four each of those. Particularly DT and G or C.

Yes, I'd definitely take Levis at 5. He played in the exact same style offense that the Seahawks ran last season. So that HAS to have some allure to Schneider. That and he's got a Canon for an arm and I've been banging the drum on this kid for well over a year now lol
