Here's the issue for the Ravens.

They are the Carolina Panthers of a few years back. Jackson may very well win a few games for them... he'll make athletic plays and everyone will be enamored by him... but at some point he's going to take off running and he's going to take a shot he doesn't get up from and it's over.

It's not a brand of football that has any chance at longevity or consistency. It will win them games like this, but it's not something you will ever repeat.

The issue is you never really have anything positive to say without a caveat. It's always, "OMG WE BLOW... but good throw by Wilson."

It's just annoying.

They're 5 and 2 with a super good chance of being 7-2 with Matt Ryan going down with an ankle and Tampa at home. Fans like you are just so frustrating to listen to. They've won an avg of 10+ games the last 8 seasons and are on that path again.

Russ doesn't have to change anything. His style of play has proven success.

These guys like Jackson are always an enigma for a few years then are done.

Guys like Wilson are stalwarts.

Truthfully, the Seahawks while being 5-2, could easily be 1-6.

Outside of the one great draft, the other years selections have been marginal. There you have it.
