Yeah, DT Byron Young probably would have been better at 52 than Charbonnet.

I like the idea of adding Charbonnet and McIntosh, even at 52 for Zach. Somebody is always hurt at RB, and if K9 goes out, having two quality backs who can pound the ball to step in makes us barely miss a beat. Plus, just to use them rotationally or as a pass-catching wrinkle, as well as solving slot with JSN, and our good TEs -- Geno has all the weapons he needs going in.
me too. Nobody wanted to add the big NT more than me, but I am a big fan of both RBs. I've been raving about Charbonnet being the perfect fit since the UW-UCLA game last year, and been gushing over McIntosh since the 5th round Saturday. All three have excellent complementary traits - Walker is a home run threat, Charbonnet is big and physical, and McIntosh does EVERYTHING. He had a shitty 40 time, but runs hard and has excellent hands - probably the best receiving RB in the draft. Going into the draft, we only had Walker and DeeJay, so it was also a big need. Now it's not.

If the O-linemen turn out to be good, the offense could be something special.

B+ actually.
They didn't get that obvious interior D-lineman....that they sorely needed.
But the rest was great.
Agreed. I'm giving them a B.

Oh God. Kiper gave the Seahawks and A. Switching my grade to F. We are doomed.

Good running backs make a QBs job a lot easier. Geno's got to be happy with this draft

LOL, I thought something similar when I saw that. The Reverse Kiper Kiss of Death.

Murph at Top Billin's take on our new RBs. He likes Charbonnet but is frickin' in love with McIntosh.

I'm happy as hell with three quality backs. Just think of how many we've gone through since Marshawn. They don't last a long time lol. Carson, Penny, Rawls, Collins, Procise -- and when our Number One goes out with an injury, trying to cobble things together with Dallas or Homer or others was a significant drop-off, and made us predictable and easy to defend. Just another reason we looked like Team three-and-out so often.

Let Geno Cook lol. But give him the groceries!

I think we've found our forever center in Olu. This guy is off the charts in brains and leadership.

According to ESPN college football reporter Chris Low, he views Oluwatimi as the biggest steal of the draft.

Here is what he said about the pick:

"Centers are typically drafted lower than they should be, but seeing Michigan's Olusegun Oluwatimi slip to the fifth round was surprising -- but great news for the Seahawks that they could wait that long to get their center of the future. The 6-3, 310-pound Oluwatimi will play 10 years in the NFL and be a fixture in the middle of that Seattle offensive line. He played on college football's best offensive line last season and won the Outland Trophy as the top interior lineman in college football and the Rimington Award as the top center. He has played in three different systems (Air Force, Virginia and Michigan) and will develop rapidly into a top-tier NFL center."

I think we should have a prayer circle or séance and pray they none of the picks come in hurt like every other season the past 5 years....Never understand how 22 yo athletes unexpectedly come in hurt 5 months after the season ended.

When you look at this draft in totality (while mouth-breathing peon fanboys like me had an endless hard-on for Jalen Carter at 5), the way the VMACs have addressed about everything this offseason: contracts, cap, FA signings, depth, a look to the future, character and leadership, returning vets, it's a thing to behold.

I was a little surprised ZC is only listed 6 ft at 214 lbs. Walker is 211lbs but only 5'11. Basically identical. ZC is 1.4% taller and 1.4% heavier so identical height to weight ratio. Not quite the Thunder and lightning I was hearing about.
