me too. Nobody wanted to add the big NT more than me, but I am a big fan of both RBs. I've been raving about Charbonnet being the perfect fit since the UW-UCLA game last year, and been gushing over McIntosh since the 5th round Saturday. All three have excellent complementary traits - Walker is a home run threat, Charbonnet is big and physical, and McIntosh does EVERYTHING. He had a shitty 40 time, but runs hard and has excellent hands - probably the best receiving RB in the draft. Going into the draft, we only had Walker and DeeJay, so it was also a big need. Now it's not.maoling wrote: ↑Mon May 01, 2023 5:56 pmYeah, DT Byron Young probably would have been better at 52 than Charbonnet.
I like the idea of adding Charbonnet and McIntosh, even at 52 for Zach. Somebody is always hurt at RB, and if K9 goes out, having two quality backs who can pound the ball to step in makes us barely miss a beat. Plus, just to use them rotationally or as a pass-catching wrinkle, as well as solving slot with JSN, and our good TEs -- Geno has all the weapons he needs going in.
If the O-linemen turn out to be good, the offense could be something special.
