They beefed up everywhere - my favorite 'critique" of the clueless 'experts' complaining about drafting Charbonnet when we already had walker - just the fact they don't understand the critical need for depth at that position - and then they get that baller from Georgia. One of the best moves to give Seattle a ridiculously deep and talented backfield to go along with that receiving corp. Depth depth depth. Grabbing the center and guard? Oooof. They beefed up the front seven enough and now have the fiercest secondary in the league. The linebacking room is till thin, but they'll probably rely on the secondary to make up for it. I was worried when they didn't snag that center from Minnesota - but then they actually upgraded from him. All blue chip players, too. These guys hit a monster homerun again this year.
Yeah, other than that it totally sucked.![]()

This is actually good news for us. If he could of have played in the Playoffs then he is obviously golden now. I don't blame the kid a bit. He was saving himself for his wedding night with us. LOLSeattleAddict wrote: ↑Tue May 02, 2023 2:23 amYeah a healthy season would be a huge blessing.
I think we kind of broke the curse last year. Tyreke Smith was the only one, and he was one of those "raw potential" 5th round picks, so maybe the year off observing actually helped him. We don't know if he could actually be good.
JSN is the one real injury concern. He barely played the whole season - that's not a minor hamstring pull.

I agree somewhat. I went A -, because while they didn’t get that game wrecker upfront, they didn’t reach, and they did address D Line in FA.Walla Walla Dawg II wrote: ↑Sun Apr 30, 2023 2:49 pmB+ actually.
They didn't get that obvious interior D-lineman....that they sorely needed.
But the rest was great.

Re: Grade the Seahawks 2023 Draft
The complaining about RB is an odd one. Each of the last two times it was a later second round pick, right? Not sure that is a reach. Walker certainly wasn’t, and I don’t remember anyone in here saying he was. Odd that they would get critiqued again for doing the same. One back ain’t cutting it in this league. Draft RBs, not in the first, but draft them, don’t sign them.
The only RB move we made last year I was not on board with was signing Penny. But that was a pretty team friendly deal, so no biggie.

I like that they quoted the "expert" McShay. The guy that gets paid millions of dollars to analyze the draft and got the worst score of ANYBODY mocking drafts... including us. Even worst than Kiper.D-train wrote: ↑Tue May 02, 2023 11:33 amThis is actually good news for us. If he could of have played in the Playoffs then he is obviously golden now. I don't think his injury this past season is a real concern. The concern is whether he's one of those 'soft-tissue' guys like Penny that are always out.

Weird how he wins the Rimington and Outland and somehow is graded #5 at the combine. I'm happy he's ours.D-train wrote: ↑Tue May 02, 2023 11:36 am5th best C.

I'm getting the impression his strengths run more in the intelligence, leadership sort of things, but he might not be the most athletically gifted football player
