Looking forward to the obscure stat about the last time 2 players with the surname of a country faced each other as batter and pitcher from Alex Meyer.
JP will have faced two pitchers named JP. Sears and France.

Jonathon India is the only other country named guy I can think of.
Greg holland, Mark Portugal, Jim Canada, Turkey Stearnes, Joe Scotland, Blas Monaco, Germany Smith, Tim Ireland. This is per a Reddit page with a picture from a mariners broadcast with the “all-country team”. Good chance France vs grave is the first ever.
Turkey Stearnes!!!

At present, on our ENTIRE roster, we have a grand total of ONE player (JK) who you look at and think "Hey, he's having a nice season". One. That's it.

Even the A's and Royals have three or four guys who are putting up nice numbers.

HOW is this even possible? This has to be an MLB record for fewest good hitters 32 games into the season. These guys are on par with the 2010-2011 teams offensively. Even the expansion team hit better than these guys do.

But their "clubhouse culture" is top notch...

You make the weirdest typos dude.
My phone auto corrects, and I don’t proof read. Should have said France vs France

Damn Murfee is hurt. Stupid pitch clock is hurting a lot of good pitchers. Then better really help out. Gonna need it.

Wow Marco getting out Alvarez. Good to see.

Even our better hitters. Raleigh just got two total meatballs and did nothing with either. Why can't these guys hit meatballs?

And he and Teo strike out. What a disaster.

Fucking shit this offense. Bases loaded 1 out against a guy making his debut. Teo u idiot u swing at pitches way way out of the zone but let that go by. True trash right there.
