That is exactly my point. The offense is run with zero intention of gaining a first down. If the defense decides it can't tackle Carson with 9 in the box? Yeah, we might gain a first down. But from the first offensive possession of the 3rd quarter we did NOTHING to even remotely look like a team looking to add to their lead. It is a Pete Carroll MO, and it is really stupid.

This team will be one and done in the playoffs. I think they'll make it (Russ-Lockett-Metcalf-Carson is amazing) but the O line is crap, the D Line has no push and the secondary isn't good enough against the elite QB's they'll face in the playoffs.

Honestly, I don't know. This team baffles me. One half they look like world beaters, 10 minutes later they look like they're playing flag football. Listen, I know I rag on this team and talk a lot of crap, but this team is just baffling. They could easily be 4-4, but they're not. They're 6-2 and I WANT them to make the playoffs. Now, I'm not sure. When I see that record, 6-2, how can one NOT think they won't make it? But, after seeing the games they'd play, who they've beat and their powder puff play calling...it's just irritating.

As of right now, from what I've seen and MY opinion I think the Rams beat them, Minnesota beats them and they lose both games to the Rams. They beat the Bucs and the Cards. Eagles and Panthers games I'm unsure of. Both are on the road and both teams are pretty good teams. So, I can see (as of now) 8-8 at the worst or 10-6 at best.

8-8 won't get them anything but a late first round pick and while 10-6 is good enough (I think) to get them into the playoffs, they'll likely get trounced in the first round.

This team is SOFT. Period. No killer instinct and that's on the coach. The 2013/15 Hawks would have destroyed that Falcons team.

Completely agree. Realistically, they beat the Bucs and the Cards. That said, they could easily lose to both of those teams and beat the Niners. As you say, it's baffling. They seem to play to the level of competition, so they play down to a team like ATL and squeak out a win, then get up for the better teams (as evidenced in last year's win over KC).
