Oh I don't know, maybe celebrating Trans sisters of whatever bullshit ceremony night might have something to do with it. The day the M's have a night of that, is the day I'm out as a fan for life.
Well if the mariners could figure out how to get to three WS in the next eight years I'd put up with it, and i bet you would too
That's a bet you'd lose 100 times out of 100
Sisters been around for nearly fifty years, begun as a San Fransisco thing. Not that I saw much of them but really my buddies and me thought they were kinda funny. And they have always been helpful particularly in terms of health issues.Certainly didn't see much controversy, though i wasn't particularly in tune to catholic sensitivities. Seems odd to me, doesn't it usually work work the other way? Things seem controversial at first but then get more accepted? Guess it the world we live in, everything becoming political.
"This has nothing to do with the LGBTQ community or Pride or anything like that," Kershaw said, according to the Associated Press. "This is simply a group that was making fun of a religion, that I don't agree with."
So the issue is dressing in nun outfits. Monty Python took serious shots at the catholic church, the sisters are nothing compared to that.

And you would quit the mariners after three WS over something like this, okay. The mariners have pride night, they were ground breaking by being the first franchise to fly a pride flag. You can handle that, but nuns outfits is going too far. Well personally, for me, that's taking things a bit too seriously.

Rockies select Chris Flexen. I definitely wanted to trade Flexen for Snell.
Yeah, been nice to have had a fully functioning Chris flexen just about now.

Nah, would've been better to have Snell starting this game.

To each their own. And I disapprove of Pride Night as well. They've already been skating on thin ice as far as I'm concerned. I'm so close to quitting all sports in general because of the political bullshit. I don't care if they win 10 fucking World Series in a row. It's one of the main reasons I've recently come to love the Rangers so much. At least their organization has morals.

Well, these are 2x players the LO podcast mentioned. Another AL West team trying harder than Jerry Dipoto.

Yep, there was no way that LAA was going to put Ohtani back on the trade market.

And you just being the weirdo of the forum. Per usual.

Hilarious that you and Harmony show up more now that the M's are a bit over .500... and when JP Crawford finally doesn't fall off a cliff.

But hey Ice, for every Blake Snell (who was never on the trade block), there's always Patrick Wisdom and Max Kepler...

Nah, that was a weird thing to say about LAA.

Yet, it didn't stop you to say that you'd rather have Flexen than Snell. I was right about Snell being better. Wisdom was better than LaStella. Max Kepler is better than Pollock.

Hey sorb, Judge still signed with the Yankees after he was upset with them, and getting booed by the fans. He didn't get a total contract under $300M either. Joc Pederson didn't hit the market and accepted his QO.
