Nah. It will be a pitcher. Unless Moore is ready. Maybe Leblanc?

Seager isn't eligible to come off the 60 day IL. LeBlanc is a possibility but he just pitched on the 13th.

They have 13 pitchers on the 25 man, so it's probably not a pitcher, though they could swap another pitcher to combine with this move.

It looks like Dee is ready to play everyday, so having Dee, Crawford and Beckham was enough for the infield and Long was surplus.

I can see the M's bringing Mallex back up. They could also select Ian Miller up which adds him to the 40 man. They would have to do a corresponding 40 man move like moving Hunter Strickland to the 60 day IL.

I just think they will call up someone short term until Leblanc is ready to come back. Ian Miller makes sense if they find place on the 40 for him. Maybe Festa to push a few innings if Ms starter struggles. But yes, won't be Seager until next week

I warned about getting too excited about the Shed. I think we traded our second round pick for a AAAA UT guy.

The disadvantage to moving a player to the 60 day IL is that they will need a roster space when they come off of it. Seager will cause a 40 man roster move, and if they put Hunter on, then they will need another space.

They could pop some players off like Wright and/or McKay, Markel. They could also trade one or two for cash or a PTBNL, like one of the aforementioned players. Trade options include Altavilla, Sanchez, and Healy too.

We traded our 6th best OF prospect and got back our second best IF prospect. He's still young and only has 2 months in AAA. He's probably not going to be an all star, but I think he can be an above average hitting 2B with average defense

Miller and Lopes have been on fire in AAA. I would think Mallex would be the first choice though. Strickland is throwing so he isn't going on the 60 day.
