I think your pick was pretty close last week, wasn't it? I hope you are on point this week, I just wonder if KDB will pull back a little sooner on Tulsa, knowing they aren't quite the threat that BSU was?Walla Walla Dawg II wrote: ↑Fri Sep 08, 2023 5:13 pm
I'm not saying our number 1's will get this, but I do anticipate our number 2's putting at least 14 on them as well....maybe even 3 or 7 with Morris and our number 3's.

Ducks scored 81 last week. We should be able to manage a measly 60.Michael K. wrote: ↑Fri Sep 08, 2023 7:00 pmI think your pick was pretty close last week, wasn't it? I love that our coaches typically worry about running up the score on other teams, but we have a Heisman Trophy candidate to pad.
The coach knows it.
The university knows it.
ESPN knows it.
Penix knows it.
And Oregon put way too many points on Portland STate last week and wee need to keep up.

Great point. They aren't going to invest all that time and money on the Heisman campaign and then pull him halfway through the 3rd quarter leaving 2 TD passes and another 150 yards on the table.... At least they shouldn't.Walla Walla Dawg II wrote: ↑Fri Sep 08, 2023 8:35 pmYes and no.Michael K. wrote: ↑Fri Sep 08, 2023 7:00 pmI think your pick was pretty close last week, wasn't it? No. 1 Georgia vs. Ball State | 12 p.m. ET | SEC Network
No. 2 Michigan vs. UNLV | 3:30 p.m. | CBS
No. 3 Alabama vs. No. 11 Texas | 7 p.m. | ESPN
No. 4 Florida State vs. Southern Miss | 8:30 p.m. | ACC Network
No. 5 Ohio State vs. Youngstown State | 12 p.m. | Big Ten Network
No. 6 USC vs. Stanford | 10:30 p.m. | FOX
No. 7 Penn State vs. Delaware | 12 p.m. | Peacock
Only upset I see here is possibly Texas and even with a Texas upset they might jump us from #12..... so we almost surely stay at #8 next week.

That's the only game I'm worried about as well. But if we put 60-70 on a FBS team and hold them under 20, then I'd feel pretty safe.

Yeah and they love Alabama so much they would probably keep them above us even if they lose.Walla Walla Dawg II wrote: ↑Sat Sep 09, 2023 2:01 pmThat's the only game I'm worried about as well. But if we put 60-70 on a FBS team and hold them under 20, then I'd feel pretty safe.
Are you worried about the MSU revenge game next week? I am.

A lot of the writers are saying that Bama has lost a step, then there are others that believe they are just a strong as ever.
I honestly don't know what to think other than they will always be good as long as Saben is there.
As for MSU; I don't think we will win by more than 17, and that last score that puts up that much will be late in the 4th quarter.
MSU wasn't anything special last year and a bunch of freshmen shouldn't make a difference. We also picked up their best player from last year in Bernard.
