Hawks Revival Game thread

Still can't believe we won that game Fart Field today. Shit was way stacked against us. I can't think of one advantage we might have had. Except for being so humiliated last week at home in our opener, we decided to do it to the Lions.

The Hawks had a few plays that you won't get every week to go your way, but the improvement from week one was a lot.
In hindsight, Geno was really fricking good.
Lockett is damn good. Like Pete said today, I wish he could play forever.
Walker had a very good 43 yard game watching the highlights.
I feel like the defense might get good.

Julian Love stood out today... 8 tackles and 3 recoveries. He's the real deal. Glad we have him.

It’s two games but he’s not looking like an upgrade over Ryan Neal. Got beaten in coverage multiple times including on the opening Lions touchdown. I’ll still give it some time, more specifically when Jamal Adams returns, which is probably very soon

Devon Witherspoon is neither a winner nor a loser, but if you make me choose I say winner. Both of the 4th down stops involved him in coverage, and he had a good tackle for a short gain on a run play. The bad? Biting on a flea-flicker and giving up a long touchdown, and he got beaten on a couple of other plays as well but I’m not that bothered. For a debut, it was not perfect, but his positives were really encouraging.

There has to be someone better than DeeJay Dallas on punt returns. Or returns in general

Geno does suck! He almost lost us the game multiple times. This is NOT our QB to take us to the SB. Glad we got the W though.

I don’t think a FB playing QB is either. Your boy Richardson didn’t make six full quarters of football with his style of play.

The fact he's the starter is all the proof I need to know I was right. He obviously needs to learn how to go down or he won't be around for long.

Love's missed tackle on La Porta on the Lions last TD drive was probably one of the worst I have seen in my life. I am almost positive I could have made that tackle.
