In a crap sandwich of what we have with Haggerty, JK, Dom, and Marlowe I rather play JK. I think the real answer is getting a new player. The problem is the guy doing it is Jerry. His Free Agent Eval has been horrid, and trading for position players is just as bad.

I know I don't want Dom there. Weak defense and .196 .213 OBP and .691 OPs Sept and .238 .280 and .670. Dom is a 4th outfielder at best. Marlowe has some nice upside and Sam is just Sam.

We need something else there. Especially the weakness that France has become. We can't have holes at LF, 1st, and honestly 3rd. And we could have a big hole at RF too. I just don't see Teo resigning here.

Is Jerry really going to have enough money to fix. NOPE-----------------Stanton has tight pockets. And we need a 1st, 3rd, RF, and LF. I can see 1 or 2 of those addressed and let it ride with JK, Dom and crew to fill. Winker, Wong, Lastella, etc. has proved that.
You need a band aid until Emerson arrives at 3B. Matt Chapman would've been nice.

Can Harry Ford transition there? I hear is defense behind the dish is so-so. Isn't he athletic enough to play any position? Wasn't this guy supposed to be the next Russell Martin?
Harry ford isn’t the solution. He isn’t ready next year until maybe September. We are stuck with Geno 2024. I don’t think a rookie with no experience at 3B is the solution for a 1 year stopgap in 2025

Not counting on Emerson either to be a solution, certainly not in two years. Honestly, I think that's letting Dipoto off the hook, Emerson will be a solution when he becomes a solution.

Agreed. Any of their minor leaguers filling their current holes would be fantasyland.

Dippy should be operating like his minor league team doesn't even exist in 2024 (except to trade from it).

I bet he sticks with Geno and France for 1B and 3B and hopes that Locklear can help in 2024 and take over for one of them in 2025

He definitely gets married to his guys, chances are he will stick with both.

Would be nice if Ty moved to Util role if that's the case so they can add a significant bat.

Between Ty, Geno and Evan White the Mariners are on the hook for almost $25M next season.
